Beirut (ST): The Higher Defence Council in Lebanon has announced a state of Health emergency,which encompasses reduced passenger movement at the airport by 20% and imposed curfew as of next Thursday through the 24th of January to confront the spread of the Corona virus pandemic.
Secretary General of the Council major General Mahmoud Al-Asmar said following the Council meeting that the passengers coming from some states would be obliged to reside for seven days in hotels and undergo the PCR test upon their arrival and another test six days after their arrival.
He added that the passengers’ movement at Beirut International Airport would also be reduced to 20%.
