Lebanese soldier martyred in Israeli raid on Wazzani area

Beirut (ST) – The Lebanese Army Command announced the martyrdom of a soldier, as a result of an Israeli enemy raid that targeted a motorcycle near an army checkpoint in Wazzani area in South Lebanon.

The Command stated today: “A soldier was martyred as a result of an Israeli enemy drone attack targeting a motorcycle while it was passing by an army checkpoint in Wazzani,” noting that another soldier was injured as a result of the attack.

A person was also martyred when enemy aircraft targeted a motorcycle at the entrance to Khiyam.

In addition, enemy warplanes raided the outskirts of the town of Al-Jbeen, while enemy artillery shelling targeted the Marjeyoun plain and the village of Sardeh.
