Lebanese security forces arrested three ISIS terrorists

Beirut,(ST)-Lebanese security forces arrested three terrorists belonging to “ISIS” organization who planned to carry out terrorist acts.

The General Directorate of the Lebanese Security said in a statement today: “In the context of following the movements of the terrorist cells and pursuing their elements, three Lebanese have been arrested for belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS.”

“By investigating the three terrorists, they confessed that they had pledged allegiance to ISIS and supported it via social media, and incited other people to pledge allegiance to the organization, as they tried to travel to Syria and Egypt to join the ranks of the organization,” the statement said.

The statement indicated that these terrorists conducted training in preparation for terrorist acts and planned to kill soldiers from the security services.
