Lebanese President begins parliamentary consultations to name a new prime minister

Lebanese President General Michel Aoun today started parliamentary consultations to name a new Prime Minister.

At Baabda Palace, Aoun receives, respectively, heads of parliamentary blocs and MPs to be briefed on  their opinions in this regard.

The former Prime Minister of Lebanon, Hassan Diab,  on the tenth of last August submitted the resignation of his government to the Lebanese President who accepted it and asked it to continue conducting business until a new government is formed.
