Lebanese politicians condemn the Turkish attacks on Syrian territories

Beirut, (ST) – Former Member of the Lebanese Parliament Emile Lahoud renewed his condemnation of the attacks of the Turkish regime on the Syrian territories, stressing that the president of this regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has lost his legitimacy inside the Turkey after he involved his country in successive attacks to achieve his expansionist Ottoman illusions.

Lahoud said in a statement today that the speeches don’t specify the victor, but the battle field does, as the Syrian Arab Army, with the support of its allies, has proven that Erdogan is an occupier and he supports terrorist groups, and therefore, the army will return the lands to its owners and the Syrian sovereignty will continue to be preserved.

In turn, the Lebanese Toilers League (a political party) condemned the Turkish attacks on Syrian territories, stressing that their coincidence with the Zionist attacks aims at supporting and protecting the desperate and defeated terrorist organizations in Idlib governorate and at stopping the victories of the Syrian Arab army there.

The Lebanese Union Party, on its part, confirmed that the synchronization of the Israeli and Turkish attacks on Syrian territories confirms the two sides’ role in supporting the terrorists and their fear of being defeated by the Syrian Arab Army.

The party added in a statement that the brutal aggression of the Turkish regime on the Syrian territories targets Syria’s unity and sovereignty and it is an attempt to prevent Syria from accomplishing its national duty in liberating its entire territory from terrorism.
