Lebanese politician: Syria and all resistance forces are in a battle against economic blockade

Beirut, (ST) – The head of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Lebanon Asaad Hardan affirmed that Syria, along with all the resistance forces, is fighting a battle in the face of the economic blockade imposed by the hostile colonialist alliance to achieve what it failed to achieve in war.

In a statement yesterday, Hardan said “We support Syria and the forces of resistance in the nation. We have the will and the determination to continue with steadfastness and resistance unril we achieve victory and defeat the occupation in all its forms and eradicate terrorism in all its names.”

He added that this victory is for Palestine because it is the core national issue.

Hardan also said that the forces of resistance in our nation are fighting in an open confrontation against the plan to liquidate them, and this plan began with Resolution 1559 in 2004, then with the July war in 2006 and the global terrorist war against Syria and the economic blockade.

Hardan added that “in Lebanon we thwarted the effects of sedition and the resistance won in the July war, just as Syria was able, with the wisdom and steadfastness of its government and the sacrifices of its army, to stand firm in the face of the global war and achieve successive achievements and victories over terrorism and its sponsors.
