Lebanese political figures reaffirm resistance’s legitimate right to retaliate against any Israeli aggression on Lebanon’s sovereignty
Lebanese forces, parties and personalities have reaffirmed the legitimate right of the Lebanese resistance to retaliate against any Israeli aggression on the Lebanese sovereignty.
Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Ali Fayyad, reiterated that the Lebanese resistance has established a deterrent equation against Israel, and thus the enemy realized that any aggression would not pass without a response from the resistance, clarifying that what the resistance is doing aims at one thing, which is protecting Lebanon from this enemy and its reckless adventures.
On his part, MP Mustafa Hussein, leader of the Lebanese Popular Movement, said that Lebanon and the Lebanese resistance have the full right to retaliate against any Israeli attack and to maintain the deterrent equation that prevents Israel to launch adventure against Lebanon.
Meantime, the Coordination Commission of the Meeting of the National Lebanese Parties, Forces and Personalities said in a statement on Saturday that the resistance’s retaliatory missile firing is justified and legitimate and it reaffirms the resistance’s commitment to defending Lebanon against Zionist aggression.
Head of the National Center for Social Work in the north of Lebanon Kamal Al-Khayer, on his part, said that the heroic retaliatory action of the Lebanese resistance against the Israeli attacks is a legitimate right that confirms the resistance’s readiness to confront any danger threatening Lebanon.
The Commission of the Locals of Al-Arqoub and Shebaa Farms in South Lebanon asserted that responding to the Zionist attacks on Lebanese territory is a Lebanese national liberation stance. It pointed out that the NATO-backed Zionist enemy wants to reoccupy Lebanon by stripping it of its defensive power. Therefore, it is Lebanon’s right to maintain its defensive abilities to deter the enemy and to be on high preparedness to restore the remaining occupied Lebanese lands in Shebaa Farms and Kfar Shouba Hills.
