Lebanese PM’s visit to Damascus enhances joint coordination and exchanging visits
A Lebanese government source told Al-Arabiya TV that the Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s visit to Damascus is a foundational step toward initiating coordination and exchanging visits.
He will discuss opportunities to strengthen relations and stability between the two countries, control the borders, close illegal crossings, and prevent smuggling.
The two sides will also discuss demarcating the border between the two countries, with the possibility of discussing the abolition of the Lebanese-Syrian Supreme Council.
