Lebanese parties and forces in Tripoli call for cementing relations with Syria

BEIRUT, Nov 25, (ST)-The meeting of Lebanese Parties, forces and national dignitaries in Tripoli city has asserted the need to cement the distinguished relations with Syria.  
 
The meeting, which was held on Thursday in the headquarters of the Syrian Social Nationalist Part (SSNP), said in a statement that Syria is the only gate for Lebanon to export the Lebanese agricultural and industrial products and to import the main items from Syria and nearby countries.
 
It affirmed that real independence manifests itself in the liberation from hegemony and subjugation.
 
The participants in the meeting rejected the dictates of the western embassies, referring to the repeated visits made by the US ambassador to Tripoli under several pretexts.
