Lebanese parties and forces condemn the terrorist attack on the Military College in Homs

Beirut (ST): Lebanese and Palestinian parties and figures condemned the terrorist crime that targeted the graduation ceremony of military college officer students in Homs yesterday.

Former Lebanese President, General Emile Lahoud, confirmed in a statement that the crime comes in the context of the ongoing conspiracy against Syria and its people through an American-Zionist plan, along with terrorist and takfiri parties under several names.

Lahoud expressed his deep condolences to the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Bashar al-Assad, and to the Syrian people for this great loss.

In turn, the Minister of Agriculture in the caretaker government, Abbas Al-Hajj Hassan, affirmed that Syria will remain steadfast, and no matter how much terrorism and the Israeli enemy targets it, it will emerge victorious, adding: “All condolences to Syria and mercy to the righteous martyrs.”

Hezbollah Party offered its deepest condolences and feelings of sympathy to President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian army for the victims of the terrorist attack on the Military College in Homs, noting that “this crime confirms the nature of the ongoing battle with terrorist groups and their regional and international operators and the danger of the global conspiracy against Syria.”

Hezbollah reiterated its full support for the Syrian leadership, army, and people in this battle, expressing its confidence that “Syria will increase in strength, solidity, and determination, and will preserve its unity and the safety of its people.”

For its part, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party condemned in a statement the terrorist crime against the Military College in Homs, and said: “This terrorist massacre is added to a series of brutal massacres committed by terrorist groups and states sponsoring terrorism, all of which are described as crimes against humanity,” pointing out that “the silence of international institutions regarding it is a cover-up and an acknowledgment of submission to the American-Zionist will, which makes it an accomplice in terrorism.”

The political office of the Lebanese Amal Movement offered its deep condolences and sympathy to President Bashar al-Assad, the people and the Syrian army, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
