Lebanese parties affirm Syria has never been anything but helpful to Lebanon

BEIRUT,(ST)_Lebanese parties have thanked Syrian people and leadership for supplying Lebanon with oxygen to fill the shortage. 
 
Arab Unification Party ( Tawhid Party) said in a statement released on Thursday : “ This step that meets Lebanon’s need upon the directives of President Bashar Al-Assad brings back hope to Lebanese and brotherly relations between the two countries.” 
 
It affirmed that Arab peoples have no choice but to achieve integration and solidarity in politics and economy to confront all difficulties. 
 
For its part, Islamic Action Front said that Syria  has never been stingy in extending a helping hand to Lebanon especially during the difficult circumstances that both Syria and Lebanon go through. 
 
“This kind help is evidence of good intentions and the keenness of the wise Syrian leadership on the recovery of Lebanon despite the global war being launched on Syria since 10 years ago,” the front added. 
 
Yesterday, President Bashar Al-Assad has ordered securing 25 tons of oxygen as a first batch of medical aid to Lebanon amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis in the country.
