Lebanese parliamentary and party figures congregate at the Syrian embassy in Lebanon in solidarity with Syria in the face of Caesar Act

Lebanese  MP’s and representatives of national parties renewed their solidarity with Syria in the face of unilateral US coercive measures, especially the so-called Caesar Act.

During a solidarity meeting held by a delegation of MP’s and representatives of the Lebanese national parties at the headquarters of the Syrian embassy in Lebanon, the Head of the Lebanese Parliament’s  Wafa Resistance Block Mohamed Raad said :

“The “Caesar Act is clear evidence of the failure of the plans and conspiracy that was woven against Syria that aims at targeting its role and national location.”

 

For his part, Member of the Lebanese Parliament’s Liberation and Development Bloc Ali Hassan Khalil, said that the Lebanese national responsibility and interest requires coordination with Syria to face these plans.

In turn, the President of the Supreme Council of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, MP Assaad Hardan, and the President  of the Union Party, Lebanese MP Abdel Rahim Murad affirmed Lebanon’s solidarity with Syria in facing  the “Caesar Act”.

Also, the Syrian embassy in Lebanon witnessed another solidarity meeting with Syria organized by the meeting of Lebanese parties, forces and nationalities in opposition to the Caesar Act.

The participants stressed that these terrorist plans are designed to serve the Israeli occupation entity and they will fail when faced  with the will of Syria and its allies.

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim expressed appreciation for these solidarity stances with Syria.

Ambassador Abdel Karim pointed  out the need to deepen cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries, Syria and Lebanon.

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary-General of the Arab and Islamic Community to Support the Choice of Resistance, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, handed  Ambassador Abdel Karim a petition of twenty-seven thousand solidarity signatures with Syria against the Caesar Act.
