Lebanese MP: Washington seeks hegemony over Lebanon’s oil

BEIRUT, (ST)_ Head of the Lebanese Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc [al-Wafaa Bloc] Mohammad Raed has reiterated Lebanon’s rejection of  Washington’s intervention in its internal affairs.

He made it clear that the goal of Washington’s intervention is to force Lebanon to be under the U.S. mandate so that it can have hegemony over its oil.

In a speech he made today, Raed asserted that the U.S. seeks to control Lebanon and its gas and oil and to spread fear in Lebanon which is in the interest of the Zionist entity.

“We should not allow the Zionist entity to violate Lebanon’s sovereignty or to attack the resistance,” the Lebanese MP said, indicating that the  Americans  have put pressures on Lebanon’s economy in order to end the resistance  and to weaken it.
