Lebanese MP injured, journalists suffocated by Israeli gas bomb attack near Occupied Shebaa Farms

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday attacked with tear gas bombs Member of the Lebanese Parliament Qassem Hashem and a number of journalists who were inspecting the area close to occupied Shebaa Farms, causing injuries and suffocation cases.

MP Hashem was hit in the leg and a number of journalists were suffocated by the Israeli gas and tear bombs fired at them.

According to Al-Manar reporter, the enemy troops demanded that the journalists leave the area although the delegation did not cross the so-called “withdrawal line” before firing the gas bombs.

According to Al-Manar TV website, the Zionist occupation forces confiscated devices left by the correspondent of one of the channels.

In a statement to Al-Manar after the attack, the Lebanese lawmaker reiterated the right to reach the all the occupied territories, regardless of any red lines.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the Lebanese sovereignty and territories in a blatant violation of international resolutions.
