Lebanese Minister: Syria has shown cooperation in the matter of transit through its territories

Beirut(ST):  The Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamiyah, affirmed that Syria has expressed its readiness to fully cooperate in the issue of transit through its territory, indicating that communication and coordination between the two countries is necessary to address issues of concern to them. Hamiyah indicated in his statement that a number of meetings were held with the Syrian side on the issue of transit through Syrian territory, where the Syrian side expressed its full cooperation.

  Hamiya pointed out that in the current situation, technical conditions are being discussed to determine the appropriate frameworks and find common grounds for the benefit of the two countries.
