Lebanese Health Ministry: 2,083 people martyred, 9,869 others wounded since the beginning of Israeli aggression on Lebanon

The number of the victims of the brutal Israeli aggression on Lebanon since its beginning has reached 2,083 martyrs and 9,869 wounded, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced on Monday.

The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health in the caretaker Lebanese government as saying in a statement that the death toll from the Israeli enemy’s raids on towns and villages in south Lebanon, Nabatieh, Bekaa, Baalbek, Hermel and Mount Lebanon yesterday reached 22 martyrs and 111 wounded.

Earlier today, the Israeli enemy committed a new war crime that led to the martyrdom of 10 Lebanese firefighters following a brutal raid targeting the building of the Union of Municipalities of Bint Jbeil in the southern Lebanese town of Baraasheet.

The enemy’s brutal attacks and violations of international humanitarian law continue by targeting populated residential areas. The Israeli enemy’s warplanes carried out brutal raids on the towns of Mashghara, Al-Shahabiyeh, Mahrouna, Al-Nafahiyeh, Kafr Donin and the area between the towns of Al-Majdal and Mahrouna and the towns of Janata, Tayr Dibba, Kafra and Maarakeh.

The enemy also carried out raids on the area between the old Saraya neighborhood in Nabatieh, Jabal al-Ruwais al-Shaqif and Al-Majdal Plain.
