Lebanese Foreign Ministry Condemns The Continued Israeli Occupation Massacres In  Gaza Strip

Beirut-(ST)- The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned the Israeli occupation’s continued systematic attacks on defenseless Palestinian civilians and the deliberate targeting of shelter centers for displaced Palestinians.

The most recent were the two massacres it committed in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis and the Al-Shati camp in the Gaza Strip which resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, most of whom were women and children.

In a statement carried by the Lebanese National Agency, the Ministry expressed its strong condemnation of this massacre, denouncing Israel’s continued violation of the rules of international humanitarian law and committing genocide crimes in clear defiance of ceasefire efforts.

The Ministry renewed its call on the international community to take immediate and effective action to put an end to this unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, and to provide the necessary international protection for the Palestinian people.

Relief and medical teams are still continuing their work to recover the bodies of the martyrs and treat the wounded, amid the absence of hospitals that can receive this large number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the occupation’s destruction of the health system in the Strip.
