Lazzarini: 10 Children Lose One Or Two Legs In  Gaza Strip Every Day

Occupied Al-Quds- The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, explained that ten children lose one or two legs every day as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the stricken Gaza Strip.

Wafa Agency quoted Lazzarini as saying on Tuesday during a press conference: “Since the start of the brutal war on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, about 10 children have lost one or two legs daily,” pointing out that amputations are carried out in horrific conditions without anesthesia.

Regarding the situation in the West Bank, Lazzini explained that since the beginning of its aggression against the Gaza Strip, the occupation forces have intensified their attacks on various areas of the West Bank.

He said: “We are very concerned about the situation in the West Bank, which is facing a silent war from the occupation.”
