Lavrov to discuss situation around Syria, Afghanistan at Russia-NATO Council in Brussels on December 4

The situation around Syria and Afghanistan will be discussed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council in Brussels on December 4, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports today, according to Voice of Russia.

“Participants of the meeting will exchange opinions on topical problems of the international agenda touching upon the security in the Euro-Atlantic region, the situation around Syria, Afghanistan, and issues and prospects of Russia-NATO relations in regards to responding to common risks and threats to security,” the Ministry informs.
