Lavrov: The European Union has permanently lost its independence and is incurring heavy losses because of the United States
Moscow (ST): Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov affirmed that the European Union has permanently lost its independence and that it is incurring heavy losses because of the United States of America.
During his speech at the meeting of intelligence chiefs of the CIS countries today, Lavrov added: “The West relies on the policy of “divide and rule” with regard to the countries of the former Soviet Union. The goal is absolutely clear: to break up communication among them and spread differences in our countries and among peoples to impose useless plans,” noting that the attempt to create “anti-Russian” in Ukraine is the greatest example of this.
Lavrov indicated that the policy of the West led to the arrival of Nazism to Kiev, as they were providing the regime there with weapons in an attempt to sabotage Russia, as Ukraine turned into an anti-Russian foothold.
For his part, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev stressed during the meeting that the West is trying to use various tools in order to impose liberal hegemony, as it seeks to inflict the greatest possible harm on Russia, but the repercussions are clearly back on it.
