Lavrov: Russia provided proofs on fabricating alleged chemical attack in Douma

Moscow – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that Syria is a sovereign state and we never accept the geopolitical attempts of some parties to divide it.

In a joint press conference with his Austrian counterpart Karin Kneissl in Moscow Friday, Lovrov added: “ We have provided evidences of fabricating  the alleged chemical attack in Douma, emphasizing that  Washington and its allies should provide evidences on their claims, SANA reported.

Earlier, Lavrov, in an interview with Sputnik, reaffirmed UK’s involvement in fabricating the allegations about the chemical attack in Douma in Damascus Countryside.

Lavrov said: “Russia has strong evidence that proves the UK involvement in fabricating the alleged chemical attack in Douma city.”
