Lavrov, Pedersen discuss situation in Syria

Moscow, (ST) – The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will review the situation in Syria with the UN special envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen in Moscow on Thursday.

“Lavrov will hold talks with Pedersen on the development of the situation in Syria, On Nov. 19.” The ministry’s spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, told reporters on Wednesday.

Last September, Pedersen visited Moscow and reviewed the situation in Syria with Lavrov.
