MOSCOW-US Secretary of State John Kerry has phoned Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to discuss possible ways of resolving the crisis in Syria, including the possibility of US-Russian cooperation in fighting terrorist groups operating in the Middle East region, says a press-release published on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website on July 2, RT reported.
Lavrov and Kerry also touched upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and considered the next steps that should be taken by the OSCE Minsk Group since the presidents of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan met in Saint Petersburg on June 20.
