Lavrov, Guterres discuss Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan

The situation in Syria, Libya and Afghanistan was the theme of yesterday’s meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

According to the UN Chief’s office, the two sides discussed UN-Russia cooperation in a wide range of issues and they exchanged views on recent developments in Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 76th session of UN General Assembly in New York.
