Lavrov during his meeting with Wang: Washington continues its futile attempts to dominate every corner of the world

Phnom Penh (ST): Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that the United States’ attempts to impose its hegemony in every corner of the world are futile and reflect Washington’s policy of impunity.

The TASS news agency quoted Lavrov as saying, during his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi today, on the sidelines of the activities of the ASEAN Organization in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, “The American colleagues continue their approach based on defying and deviating from the law, and they repeatedly seek to consolidate their control in more and more areas on the world stage.”

He added that everyone who follows the course of events has become aware of the futility of the policy of turning a blind eye to developments and crises caused by the United States, explaining that “Washington continues its approach based on eliminating any form of self-sufficiency for other countries, and this was evident when it tried to turn Ukraine into a threat to Russia and ignored the racist policies of the Kiev regime.
