Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov appointed Deputy Permanent Representative to UN Vladimir Safronkov his special envoy on the Middle East Affairs, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

“Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov appointed Deputy Permanent Representative to UN Vladimir Safronkov a special representative of the minister on the Middle East affairs,” the ministry said.
