Lavrov and Le Drian discuss the situation in Ukraine

On October 31st, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian the situation in Ukraine.

 “The two ministers had extensive talks within the framework of the G-20 summit being held in Rome,” Sputnik quoted Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova as saying.

 The Group of Twenty was established in 1999 at the initiative of the Group of Seven summit to bring together the major industrial countries with emerging countries with the aim of promoting constructive dialogue between them after the financial crises in the nineties of the last century.
