Lavrov: America is doing its best not to bind itself to any international obligations

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has confirmed that the United States is doing everything it can to avoid binding itself to any international obligations, in light of the recent actions of the US administration against a number of countries.

“ The recent measures of the current US administration show that Washington is doing everything so as not to bind itself to any multilateral commitments. ,The sanctions imposed by Washington on several international bodies prove this,” Sputnik quoted Lavrov as saying during a television interview on August 22.

 US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said recently that Washington is preparing to prevent Russia and China from making any attempts to violate the sanctions imposed on Iran.
