Lavrentiev: US forces illegally present in Syria are stealing Syrian resources
Nur-Sultan (ST): Alexander Lavrentiev, head of the Russian delegation at the 18th international meeting on Syria in the Astana format, held in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, confirmed that the US forces illegally present in Syria under the pretext of fighting “ISIS” are stealing Syrian resources.
Lavrentiev said in a press statement that the Israeli attacks on Syrian territory are unacceptable, and the issue will be considered in the Nur-Sultan talks.
Lavrentiev added that Moscow considers what Turkey is trying to do in northern Syria as an irrational step, which will destabilize the situation and escalate tension.
