Launch of meetings of Syrian-Iraqi technical teams for maritime transport in Damascus

In the Ministry of Transport, meetings of the Syrian-Iraqi technical teams for maritime transport began, in order to discuss issues of common interest between the two countries, on top of which is the mutual recognition of maritime certificates.

The ministry said in a statement  posted on its Telegram channel that during the meetings they discussed facilitating the transportation of goods between the two countries, the possibility of exchanging training and qualification of maritime cadres, benefiting from the presence of the Syrian Academy for Maritime Training and Qualification, and the possibility of attracting students to study there, where they are treated as Syrian students.

The Ministry of Transport indicated that a study was also discussed to establish a branch of the Syrian Academy for Maritime Training and Qualification in Iraq, and to review various issues that strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
