Lattakia Steadfast against Terrorism

LATTAKIA,(ST)- A large number of terrorists infiltrated from Turkey with Turkish support and to the border crossing of Kasab inside Syria as to control the area being of strategic importance.

The Syrian hero Arab Army in cooperation with the National Defense Forces and Al- Baath battalions confronted them, where violent clashes took place over the past two days inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.

The clashes led to the martyrdom of a number of Syrian hero Army and National Defenses forces; the most well-known and prominent among the martyrs was the leader of National Defence Forces in Lattakia, hero Hilal al-Assad.

 

On the other hand ,Lattakia city witnessed the fall of many rockets ,leaving ten martyrs ,in addition to a number of wounded in Al- Sheikdaher area and Baghdad street.

The battle is still going on in Kasab and its neighboring regions awaiting the champions of Syrian Arab Army and the forces which support them to eliminate the armed terrorists and restore security to the region and stability for the citizens who were displaced because of the armed terrorist groups crimes.
