Lattakia New Services, Developmental Projects at 1.1 Billion SP
LATTAKIA,(ST)_ On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the October Liberation War , Lattakia ‘s Governor Ahmed Sheikh Abdul Qadir and the Baath Party Branch Secretary Ahmad Shrieteh yesterday laid the foundation stone for the youth housing project in Lattakia at a total value of about 1. 59 billion Syrian Pounds (SP) to subscribers for a ten-year phase.
The project includes 1030 apartments covered by 4 contracts. The first contract includes the construction of seven tower buildings of 280 flats at a cost of 273 . 720 million pounds to be completed in period of 356 days by the Military Housing Establishment and the General Company for construction and reconstruction .
The second contract includes the construction of 7 tower buildings, worth 298 million Syrian pounds , to be implemented within 280 days while the third contract includes nine buildings with 230 apartments to be completed within 365 days , at a cost of 216.320 million pounds , while the fourth contract includes the of six tower buildings containing 240 apartments , at a value of 271 . 680 million pounds to be completed within 720 days .
In the city of Qardahah the Governor and the Secretary of the party branch opened the building of the Department of Agriculture on a total area of 3000 square meters including gardens and yards , with a total area of the building of 2,800 square meters distributed on four floors with 71 rooms , two meeting halls , two halls for training and rehabilitation , two warehouses in addition to other service rooms , with a total cost of the project estimated at 37 . 680 million pounds.
The Governor and the party branch Secretary also opened the Continuous learning Center in Qardahah which consists of three floors . The aim of the establishment of the center is the graduation of 150 students per year to meet the needs of the province of nursing staff .
In a statement to reporters , the governor of Lattakia confirmed that the October Liberation War cemented the will of victory of the Syrian people and strengthened their might , resolve and determination to continue the process of construction and development, which is an integral part of the elements of Syria’s power , pointing to the insistence of the Syrian people, coherent with their army and leadership, to confront the criminal gangs until they are defeated ,and rebuild what they had ruined with an indomitable determination .
For his part, Secretary of the Party branch noted the achievements of the October Liberation War , which are still fresh in the minds and hearts of the Syrian people and that the opening of new projects in the province is but a continuation of this process , saying that Syria by its people , army and leader was and is still determined to achieve victory and defeat the conspiracy targeting its own people.
