Lattakia hosts“DroubTishreen” International Cycling Race

With Arab and international participation, Lattakia governorate  is  hosting “DroubTishreen”International  Cycling Race  which is held by the General Sports Federation in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism.

 

Head of the Technical Committee for Cycling in Lattakia Rabab Al-Hassan said in a statement to SANA  that the International Cycling Union has adopted “DroubTishreen” International Race as part of its activities plan, indicating that the first stage of  the international race is 60 km on the Lattakia-Aleppo highway, starting from the Al-Bassa  reaching  Salma Bridge then  returning to the starting point.

Al-Hassan citadel.She added that the second stage of the race is due to start from Slunfeh to the city of Haffa where a carnival  will be held  at the end of the race. It will include  artistic performances which address  a message to the world that Syria was and still is a country of love and peace.
