Lattakia  Chess Championship concluded

Lattakia (ST): With the participation of 45 players, the Lattakia Refresher Chess Championship for the youth and men categories, which was held by the Technical Committee of the game, was concluded in the hall of Al-Basil Stadium.

Jaafar Ziti was crowned first with 5 points, followed by Hussein Abboud and then Samir Kanaan, after a differentiation round between them, to determine their positions to be equal to “four points”.

In a statement, the head of the Chess Technical Committee, Nayef Esber, explained that this is the second joint revitalization tournament for men and youth, in addition to the distinguished age groups, revealing at the same time that a refresher tournament will be held next week for women.
