Larijani : Solution in Syria Should be Through Dialogue

Tehran, (ST) – Speaker of Iranian Shura Council, Ali Larijani has assured that the solution in Syria should be through national dialogue among the Syrians, quitting the support to terrorists and halting terrorism.

During a meeting with the Syrian Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Subhi al-Abdullah in Tehran, Larijani stressed that Syria is facing a big conspiracy and paying the price for its stances in supporting the resistance, adding that we should support Syria because Syria is in the front line of resistance.

Larijani confirmed the need for conducting the national dialogue away from foreign intervention, reiterating the Shura Council’s support to the Iranian government’s decisions to support Syria people and government.

He pointed out to the enemies’ frustration over the steadfast stands of the Syrian people in the face of the western-U.S. conspiracy.

For his part, Minister al-Abdullah stressed the Syrian government’s determination to carry out reforms and confront terrorism which targets the Syrian people, their properties and infrastructure, adding that the government has called for holding a dialogue under the umbrella of the homeland.

Mr. Al-Abdullah reviewed what has been achieved over the past two days in terms of cooperation with Iranian institutions in the field of agriculture, food industries and livestock.

He underlined the importance of unifying efforts to develop joint cooperation forward and cementing Syria’s steadfastness against the terrorist war launched against Syria.

TheMinister and members of the accompanying delegation held talks with his Iranian counterpart Sadeq Khalilian, The two sides affirmed the need for enhancing and reactivating trade exchange in the field of  fertilizers, olive oil, citrus and livestock.
