Landmines, RPG Rounds and Munitions, Intended to Be Smuggled to Terrorists in Sweida Countryside, Seized

SWEIDA, (ST)- Competent authorities in cooperation with locals in Sewida province yesterday managed to seize two cars loaded with a large amount of landmines, RPG rounds and different kinds of ammunition which were intended to be smuggled to the eastern, and northeastern areas of Sweida. 

An official source at Sweida province told SANA reporter that after being precisely observed the two cars were stopped by authorities. Some 90 Israeli and US-made landmines as well as 25 RPG rounds and several ammunition boxes were confiscated.

 

Earlier in separate operations, authorities in Sweida have seized huge amounts of weapons, ammunitions and mines which were intended to be smuggled from eastern Daraa to the Syrian desert across Sweida.
