Landmine, left behind by ISIS terrorists in Palmyra, explodes, kills a citizen

A citizen was martyred on Wednesday after a landmine, left behind by ISIS terrorists in Palmyra desert in Homs eastern countryside, exploded.

According to SANA reporter, the landmine exploded, seriously injuring  a water well digger in Al-Bayarat area in the vicinity of Palmyra. The worker died later at the hospital due to his serious wounds.

The Syrian Arab Army’s engineering units continue to clear the areas liberated from terrorist organizations from the mines and explosive devices that the terrorists had planted and hidden in residential neighborhoods, agricultural lands and roads with the aim of killing as many citizens as possible and terrorizing the population.
