Landmine explosion leaves 2 girls seriously wounded

DARAA, Dec.6, (ST)-Two girls were seriously wounded on Tuesday when a landmine, that was left behind by terrorist groups, went off in Qerfa town in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Director of the General Commission of Daraa National Hospital, Dr. Yahya Kiwan, told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the hospital received two girls, aged 3 and 6, who were transferred from Izraa National Hospital, were suffering from multiple shrapnel and eye injuries.

He added that first aid was provided to them, and then they were transferred to Damascus hospitals to complete treatment for eye injuries.
