Landmine explosion kills a civilian in Hasakah countryside

A civilian was martyred on Saturday after a landmine exploded in the vicinity of Al-Abboush village in Hasakah northern countryside, which is controlled by the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) separatist militia.

Local sources told SANA that the landmine was planted by the SDF militia to fortify its positions in the vicinity of the village of Al-Abboush in Tal Tamer area of Hasakah northern countryside. The explosion killed a herder immediately.

Last Sunday, a child was martyred after a landmine exploded in the vicinity of the SDF-held Al-Hariri village in Hasakah southern countryside.

 Meanwhile in Daraa, two people were injured after a landmine, left behind by terrorists in the town of Kherbit Ghazala, blew up.

A source at Daraa National Hospital told SANA that the hospital received two people in their fifties, one of them has injuries in the chest, belly and lower limbs, while the other was injured in the head and limbs. He pointed out that the two wounded persons received necessary treatment.

Earlier in the day, an explosive device, planted by unknown persons in Al-Sill neighborhood in Daraa, exploded, causing material damage.

The explosion occurred near Milano Mall in Daraa, causing no casualties, but material damage.
