Laith Najjar qualifies for the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship in Liverpool

Doha (ST): Syria’s artistic gymnastics team player Laith Najjar has qualified for the World Championship, which will be held in Liverpool, England, next October.

Najjar qualified after winning the 17th place out of the 24 best players who qualified in the 9th Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championship, which concluded today in the Qatari capital, Doha, in which 72 players participated.

The President of the Game Federation, Muhammad Hbobati, explained that this achievement is very important for Syrian gymnastics in particular and for Syrian sports in general, referring to the performance of the player Najjar, who drew attention in the tournament with his high technical performance, pointing out at the same time that the next stop for our player will be the Mediterranean Games that will be held in the Algerian city Wahran.
