Kuwaiti businessmen to participate in DIF

Damascus, (ST) –  Within the framework of preparations for the Damascus International Fair (DIF), the Head of the Syrian Exporters’ Federation Mohammed Al-Sawah met with a number of businessmen in Kuwait representing a wide range of customers of specialized exhibitions and invited Kuwaiti companies to participate in the DIF.

 In a statement to local press, he said that the meeting which was held at the Syrian Embassy in Kuwait is a part of the efforts exerted by the Federation to make this economic and tourist event a success, referring that a large number of the businessmen expressed the desire to participate and attend the Damascus International Fair in the sectors of food, chemical and textile industries.

He pointed out that the meeting reflected the great interest of these events in the activities and exhibitions held in Syria and the distinctive reputation enjoyed by the Syrian production in terms of quality, price and competition for other products. He explained that the guests of the exhibition and its foreign customers will notice the size of facilities and services to be provided to them, especially with regard to transportation, Shipping and others.

The 59th session of the Damascus International Fair is due to open on August 17 through 26, after a five-year stop.
