Klaus: Continued Western support for the regime in Ukraine hinders reaching a peaceful solution

Prague (ST): Former Czech President Vaclav Klaus confirmed that Russia is now engaged in a war of existence in Ukraine against the West, led by the United States, and therefore it cannot allow the loss of this war.

During an interview with Mlada Fronta Dennis newspaper today, Klaus indicated that “Russia was provoked into the war in Ukraine by seriously threatening its security by Western countries,” considering that the continued Western support for the Kiev regime hinders the possibility of reaching a quick solution to the crisis in Ukraine.

Klaus stressed the need to seriously discuss the tragic conditions of civilians in the conflict zone and to speed up a peaceful solution, and not only hint at unilateral support for Ukraine.
