Kilicdaroglu: Erdogan is responsible for the situation in Syria and the region

On the December 15, the leader of the Turkish Republican People’s Party, Kemal Kilicdaroglu said that the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his party are responsible for the situation in Syria and the region.

“The Justice and Development Party’s approach and out-of-the-box adventures are the reason for the fire that burned the region, especially in Syria, and the reason for its crisis from the beginning,” Kilicdaroglu said in the introduction to the his book, “Turkish-Russian Relations in light of the crisis in Syria”

He added that the past eight years have proven that the basic guarantee for Turkey’s security and stability and the protection of its national interests is for a united sovereign Syria which enjoys peace, security and stability, and for Ankara to have good relations with it.

Kilicdaroglu said that Erdogan suffers from fatal isolation not only in the region but also in the whole world.

“Erdogan directly interfered in the overall developments and details of the crisis in Syria, which is a contradiction with what he says publicly about Turkey’s commitment to Syrian unity and the efforts made to resolve the crisis in it,” Kilicdaroglu said.
