Khan Sheikhoun embraces its first cultural activity after its deliverance from terrorism

This time, the eyes of the poets turned to green Idlib as the dream came true after years of exile in a literary festival that brought together a number of poets who came from different provinces to sing through their poems the love of the homeland on the liberated land of Khan Sheikhoun thanks to the sacrifices of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army.

The poets participating in the festival, which was held by the Idlib branch of the Union of Arab Writers, glorified the heroic struggle of the Syrian Arab Army that liberated this region from the filth of terrorism, in addition to glorifying its nature, heritage, originality, and history of struggle and adherence to the return of all its regions to the motherland.

The Secretary of the Idlib Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Ahmed Najjar, expressed in his speech the importance of the poems that were recited within the festival, as they express adherence to the return of every grain of soil to the homeland and the need to restore the cultural values that were presented throughout history, evoking some poetic texts from ancient literature, and calling for adherence to the intangible cultural heritage due to its important role in developing the national sense and adherence to originality.

Head of Idlib branch of the Arab Writers Union, the poet and journalist Muhammad Khaled al-Khider, who managed the festival, expressed his great joy at the liberation of Khan Sheikhoun and his visit to it after an absence of many years, through a number of poetic stanzas that he recited and which he wrote since the beginning of the terrorist war on Syria, wishing the return of all lands to Homeland and raising the flag of his homeland on the roof of his house in Jabal Al-Zawiya.
