Khan Sheikhoun city’s council started the rehabilitation of main entrances to the city

IDLIB, Jun.13, (ST)- Khan Sheikhoun city’s council in the liberated Idlib countryside, in cooperation with the Technical Services Directorate, started the process of rehabilitating the main entrances to the city, as part of the reconstruction plan and building what was destroyed by terrorism.

The council’s Chairman Abdul Karim Najjar told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Monday that the cost of rehabilitating the road is estimated at 253 million Syrian pounds, including asphalting works, which makes it easier for farmers and citizens to move to the areas, farms and fields surrounding the city.

Ibrahim Mouallem, the supervisor of the works, declared that the project includes four road axes: Kafr Bat, Wadi Al-Ayoun, Basaliya, and the main entrance to Khan Sheikhoun, extending over 7 km.

He pointed out that the works are due to be completed within a week.

Since the restoration of security and stability to the areas liberated from terrorism, the government has exerted great efforts to restore the infrastructure there by implementing several vital projects that serve the returning of families

Statistics show that 1,500 families have returned to their houses in the Khan Sheikhoun area.
