Khan Al-Harir Specialized Textile Exhibition Kicks Off With the Participation of 88 Companies

Khan Al-Harir Specialized Textile Exhibition “Spring-Summer 2025 ” in its sixth edition started its activities last night at the Exhibition City in Damascus.

The exhibition is organized by the chambers of industry of Aleppo and the industry of Damascus and its countryside under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Resources, with the participation of 88 national companies. Minister of Economy Basil Abdul Aziz Abdul Hannan explained in a statement to reporters that holding this exhibition reflects the state of recovery, especially as economic indicators are positive a fact reflected in the increase in trade movement .

For his part, the Head of the Damascus and its countryside Chambers of industry , Mohammed Ayman al-Mawlawi, pointed out that the Khan al-Harir exhibition is the first important economic event after liberation.

For his part, member of the board of Directors of the Aleppo Chamber of industry and chairman of the exhibitions committee Mohammed Zeizan confirmed that the Khan al-Harir exhibition will be the nucleus for a series of upcoming exhibitions, with the aim of promoting and marketing the national product, which is a competitor to imported goods.

The Head of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, Bassel Hamoui, pointed out that the exhibition aims to revive and develop the textile industry in Syria, and enhance the presence of Syrian products in foreign markets, especially after the challenges faced by this industry during the past years.

Hamoui said that the exhibition provides a platform for communication between producers and importers, which contributes to opening new horizons for trade and investment cooperation in the new Syria.
