Al Khamenei: We Will Continue to Support the Resistance in Lebanon and Palestine

The leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ali Khamenei, reaffirmed his country’s continued support for the resistance fighters in Lebanon and Palestine in their struggle against the Israeli enemy.

“Hezbollah is still the strongest defender of Lebanon and the toughest shield against the ambitions of the Israeli entity, which has been seeking to divide Lebanon for a long time,” Khamenei said, referring to the Israeli enemy’s attempts to deny Hezbollah’s role in Lebanon.

Khamenei added that Hezbollah was able to protect Lebanon from the danger of partition and collapse again, thanks to the wisdom and courage of its leaders, such as its martyred Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah, and chairman of its executive council, Hashem Safieddine. He stressed that the sacrifices of leaders and resistance men  removed the danger from the villages and towns of southern Lebanon, and thwarted the plans of the aggressor and criminal Israeli entity to occupy them and annex  them to occupied Palestine.
