Khamenei: The Zionist entity will be punished for its crimes

Tehran (ST) – Supreme leader of the Iranian Revolution Ali Khamenei affirmed that the Zionist entity has sinned in attacking the Iranian consulate in Damascus and will be punished for its crime.

Khamenei said in his Eid Al-Fitr sermon today: “Consulates and embassies are part of the territory of their affiliated countries, and when the Israeli entity attacked the consulate, it is as if they had attacked our soil,” stressing that the usurping entity committed a mistake with this attack and will be punished for that.

Khamenei indicated that the support of the Western countries for the Zionist entity’ crimes shows the evil nature of the West in its dealing with the issue of Palestine, adding that: “During 6 months, more that 30 thousand unarmed people were martyred in Palestine.”

Khamenei noted that the Zionists could not defeat the resistance men, and therefore they killed children and innocent people.

Raisi: Supporting the Palestinian resistance is a legal and moral duty

In the same context, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi considered that supporting the Palestinian resistance to face the Israeli occupation and its crimes committed against the Palestinian people is a legal, humanitarian, and moral duty.

The Iranian News Agency IRNA quoted Raisi as saying in a congratulatory message on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, “Supporting the Palestinian resistance, especially those who are on the front lines fighting the Israeli occupation, is not only a religious duty for Muslims, but a humanitarian and moral duty as well.”

He called for employing all available and possible capabilities to defend the oppressed in Palestine and taking effective and practical steps to stop the Zionists’ crimes.

Raisi expressed his hope that victory would be an ally for all Muslims of the world, especially the oppressed people in Gaza and Palestine, who are still the target of injustice and violence by the usurping Zionist entity.
