Khamenei: The root of the region’s problems is America and some European countries

Tehran,(ST)- The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, stressed that the root of the region’s problems is the existence of parties such as America and some European countries who falsely claim that they want peace and stability.

According to IRNA Khamenei said, during his reception today of a group of elites and outstanding scientific talents: The root of the problem in our region is the existence of those who falsely claim that they want peace and tranquility for the region, and I mean America and some European countries. If they stop their evil in this region, there is no doubt that these conflicts, wars and disputes will disappear completely, and the countries of the region can manage themselves and their region and live together in peace, health and prosperity.

Regarding the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Khamenei added: “We are in mourning these days, and the loss of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is not a small incident”. He  expressed his hope that the peoples of the region will cooperate to be able to limit the evils of their enemies.
