Khalil calls for activating the role of international organizations and providing the best response to the displaced from the southern neighborhoods in Hasakeh

Hasakeh (ST): Hasakeh Governor Ghassan Khalil called for activating the role of international organizations and providing the best response to the displaced citizens from the southern neighborhoods of the city of Hasakeh as a result of the bombing of the area by the American occupation and the “SDF militia” on the pretext of pursuing escapees from the Industrial Secondary Prison. 

 

During his meeting with the offices of international organizations operating in the governorate, Khalil referred to the ineffectiveness and weakness of the role of these organizations during the recent displacement of the people from the southern neighborhoods of the city, stressing the need for their intervention and detection of the damages that affected citizens’ homes and government buildings as a result of their systematic targeting by the American occupation forces and the “SDF militia.” associated with it, in coordination with the Relief Subcommittee, in order to work on returning citizens to their homes and renovating colleges so that students can return to their universities.

The Governor indicated that government agencies, in cooperation with charities and civil society, provided all services to the displaced families, and they were absorbed into the shelters and secured everything that alleviated the suffering of displacement.
